  I bought this garter belt because I needed something to hold some stockings up. I picked this particular one because it looked like it would be soft, plus cute. It is pretty comfortable, especially for something not made of cotton (I usually only buy cotton). I adjusted the belt so it is on top of my cotton underwear, instead of touching my skin at the waist. This is more comfortable for me because I can't stand any seams or rough material. BUT, this lace is pretty soft and stretchy. I ordered a medium, and it is slightly roomy, which is nice. It only seems snug on the smallest adjustment. There are 3 hooks to choose from. I am a 29 waist, a 39 hips.
  
  It is a pretty color, not technically white, but will work with white clothes, which I like. If you buy this garter, don't expect to match white bras or underwear. It isn't true white, but I didn't expect it to be. Very pretty without being gaudy.
  
  It does take some time attaching the garter clips to the stockings, but it was no bother.
  Glad I purchased this. Wearing stockings will be much easier with a garter belt.
  
  Maybe eventually I will get a cotton one, but the ones I was looking at seemed like they were really heavy duty (not cute), and kind of constricting. I didn't want a corset or a waist-cincher thing so I opted for this one.
